Structures in service
Every project is documented in the same structure: context, problem, engineering response, delivery, outcome in service. Evidence before assertion.
Water and wastewater
Walkways and parapets — wastewater treatment plant

Context
Service routes and edge protection over treatment tanks, in an atmosphere saturated with aggressive compounds.
Problem
Give operators safe, permanent access where galvanised steel degrades quickly and every maintenance visit interrupts the plant.
Engineering response
GRP parapets and walkways with inherent chemical immunity and AISI 316 fixings. No surface treatment to renew over the life of the structure.
Delivery
Installed span by span, with no extended shutdown and no hot work in the process area.
Outcome in service
Edge protection in continuous service, with no repainting cycle and no scheduled replacement.
What we took from it
Where a plant runs continuously the dominant cost is not the component: it is the shutdown. Removing the maintenance removes the shutdown.
Parapet detail
Project sheets
The same construction logic,different settings.

Industrial access
Service stairs and access at height
Context
Vertical access and elevated routes in industrial plant.
Problem
Permanent operator safety in a corrosive atmosphere.
Response
Self-supporting GRP stairs and platforms, with no structural maintenance.

Industrial access
Walking surfaces in structural grating
Context
Technical floors and service gangways over process plant.
Problem
Concentrated loads in chemically aggressive environments.
Response
GRP grating sized span by span, with panels replaceable one at a time.

Food industry
Structures for food & beverage environments
Context
Process areas with frequent wash-downs and aggressive detergents.
Problem
Hygiene and structural integrity with no coating to renew.
Response
Inert GRP, non-oxidising surfaces, stainless steel fixings.

Agri-industry
Structures for livestock environments
Context
Environments with high ammonia concentration and constant humidity.
Problem
Rapid degradation of traditional steel and timber structures.
Response
A composite system immune to chemical corrosion, with a life measured in decades.
The next step
Every project here started from a constraint. What is yours?
Context, problem, engineering response: the structure we document projects with is the one we start them with.
