RS Compositi started from the belief that infrastructure engineering had stopped asking the right question. Not "what does it cost to build?" but "what does it cost to own over time?"
GRP composites have offered a technical answer to that question for decades. The work is bringing that answer into Italian public and industrial infrastructure, where long-term engineering thinking is still the exception.
RS Compositi works with clients who share that time horizon: local authorities, port operators, industrial plant managers and concession holders.
The RS process
Seven stages, from the constraint to a structure in service
Requirement
The starting point is the constraint: environment, loads, permits. RS Compositi does not offer a standard solution before understanding the specific problem.
Survey
Site visit and analysis of the operating context. Preliminary technical and cost assessment, total cost of ownership against the alternatives, and the technical risks named.
Design
System architecture shaped by the morphology of the site: geometry, connections, fittings, installation sequence. The configuration comes from the site, not from a catalogue.
Structural design
Structural verification to CNR-DT 205/2007 with FE analysis, code documentation, material specifications and shop drawings. A complete technical file.
Prefabrication
Finished modules from the works, not semi-finished parts on site. Quality control in production, before despatch.
Installation
Installed with light plant, with no welding or hot work on site. Testing and as-built documentation handed to the client.
Support
Scheduled inspections, advice on changes and extensions, and up-to-date documentation of the installed system. Handover does not close the project: it puts it into service.

We design for decades. No repainting or protective treatment cycle to renew: that is the result of correct sizing, not a promise.

Every project is a new technical analysis. The system scales; the assessment never becomes standard.
